Philosophy

I get inspiration from the natural and the built environment. I strive to create designs that balance a site’s sense of place with the functional requirements of clients’ lifestyles. I love to work on multi-disciplinary projects, collaborating with architects, contractors, and specialist manufacturers. Most importantly, no matter the budget cap, I strive to maximize the visual impact of the design solutions.

My goal is to produce well thought-out spaces (interior and garden) that not only fulfill the clients’ aesthetic and functional needs, but also help improve the property resale value in the long run.

I offer comprehensive design service that takes clients from consultations to complete realization of projects. I have experiences working with general and specialized contractors, wholesale nurseries, and specialist manufacturers in the Bay Area. If you do not know any reliable contractors, I can refer contractors for clients to solicit bids from. Upon request, I can also step in to help client communication with contractors to ensure the installation process is in sync with the design visions.
